Daryl has over 20 years of experience in sailplane design, manufacturing, and composite structure development. His first successful sailplane design was a collaborative design with Joe Wurts and Mark Allen - the F3B Eagle. Joe and Daryl finished first and second in their first ever world championships with this model.

Since then, Daryl has been involved in the design and development of many successful models. The Maverick, Laser 2MC, Psyko 3MC, Psyko Molded, Whip, Dominator, Fusion, Schpotdorker, Insanity 3.7, Skizo F3B/F3F are all examples of his concepts in design optimization, and are all proven winners.
He took a few years off from international competition, but he is now motivated and ready to go back in search of his fifth world title. The Stalker 3.9 will be his most sophisticated and complex design yet. It will be his model of choice. You can get yours from Kennedy Composites.
He is an avid aviation enthusiast, and is an instrument rated, multi-engine land certified pilot.
Professionally, Mr. Perkins has an extensive background in operations, marketing, and written communications, with more than twenty years in sales, sales management and business management. He currently manages remote locations for a successful medical transport company.
